Beautiful Black Dress With Exquisite Floral Placements

Fashion | September 30, 2014 | By

I believe skater dresses are hot favorites among many ladies as they are flattering for all sort of figures and sizes. I seldom come across any design that carries vibrant red or orange floral prints on a black background and therefore, I was delighted to find a number that fulfills this description.

Style Match of the Day:

Sateen Floral Dress from City Plaza Singapore
Red belt is a gift
Butterfly Earrings from Novena Square

I love this number as it makes me feel both sensual and feminine at the same time! Not only are the floral prints beautiful, the fabric feels luxurious on the skin as well. I am especially impressed with the way the fabric was cut such that the floral prints are abundant on the skirt area but sparsely arranged on the top half of the dress. This make the dress look really well-tailored like a designer piece with the prints looking proportionately distributed without being too busy for the eye.
Hope you are as delighted with this post as I am and see you again soon!

Styling Monochrome

Fashion | September 25, 2014 | By

One of my all time favorite fashion trends is the monochromatic style. No doubt I love many other styles as well (such as floral prints), but monochromatic is by far the top choice for me. The reason is simple; Monochrome NEVER really goes out of trend as it is simply classic and enduring. In recent times, the monochromatic style has been brought to a whole new level with more creative prints.

Mix And Match of the Day:

Sartorial Checked Dress from City Plaza Singapore
Gold Diamante Bracelet from Ebay
Studded Bucket Bag from City Plaza Singapore

I love the sartorial elegance of this number! I think this design looks like what you can find featured in fashion magazines. Somehow, it looks rather expensive, albeit its really affordable price tag. Perhaps it is the interplay of pearl and diamonte embellishments as well as the creative mirroring checked prints that makes the dress looks like a million bucks.

Hope you love this look and see you again soon!

"Back To School" Fashion And More…

Fashion | September 23, 2014 | By

First Style – Back To School

Polka Pink Streak Dress in White from City Plaza Singapore
Earrings is a gift
Black Cardigan is from Far East Plaza
Rainbow Bucket Bag from City Plaza Singapore

I know I am probably past the age of going back to school, but I really do enjoy dressing the part! I wish I had been more fashionable during my schooling days, which may have helped me make the decision to join the fashion industry earlier… nevertheless, better later than never :)!  I really love this look as I am a great fan of monochrome which is both versatile and classy. I thought the colorful bucket bag really makes the whole ensemble come alive by adding a cheerful touch to the look, making it perfect for school or a casual day out!

Second Style – Girl Next Door
Canvas Floral Dress from City Plaza Singapore
Blue Jacket from Far East Plaza
High Heels from City Square, JB

I love how the colours of the high heels match so well with the dress, as if they were meant to be a set all along! I believe this look is great for all the romantics at heart who at the same time, like that extra “wow” factor. This combination speaks, “I am a lady but one who has a bold and adventurous spirit”!

Hope you enjoy this post and see you again soon!

Neon Fashion

Fashion | September 17, 2014 | By

Ever since I joined the fashion industry, people have been telling me how differently I dress up nowadays. I guess this change is a “by-product” of my past experience in running an ever changing and fast moving fashion business. While I used to clad myself in tailored office wear, now my wardrobe consists mainly of more stylish pieces. I find myself also quick to try out styles I have never once thought will look good on my petite frame and one of them is Neon Fashion.

First look:

Neon Fashion
Neon Mod Dress From City Plaza Singapore
Sunglass from Japan
Black Velvet Platform Shoes from City Square, JB
Beaded Earrings and Rose Bangle are both gifts

Second Look:

Retro Earrings from Jcube Shopping Mall
Sunglass is a gift

Shift dresses are really comfortable to wear and also flattering for most body shapes. Choose colours or prints that pop and it can really make a petite figure (like mine) stand out. I wanted to infuse some sixties fashion vibes into my neon theme dresses so I matched them with chunky accessories such as big earrings and thick platform shoes.

I had a lot of fun creating these two looks and I hope you like them as well.

See you again soon!
