A Black Ruffled Skirt

Fashion | February 10, 2015 | By

If you are in an adventurous mood this Valentine’s, you may want to go for a style that is more unexpected and flamboyant. A pouffy ruffled skirt will be my idea of a striking yet gorgeous outfit.

The design of the black ruffled skirt may be regarded as over the top for some, but I really like it as I find the exquisite ruffles are very feminine and pretty. I picked a top with lovely red and pink floral prints to go with the statement skirt as these two colors happened to be closely associated with the Valentine’s theme!

Thank you for reading and I will be featuring a last look for Valentine’s soon. See you!

This is so cute and I don’t think the skirt is over the top 😉 It’s indeed very beautiful and it reminds me of the black swan costume 😉 Very feminine and so chic! Love this look Pru! Have a lovely day ahead! xo Vivian

The skirt is totally artistic and chic! Like that you combine it with floral blouse/long sleeve shirt..

    Oh, this is super cute!
Your skirt is so fun and pretty. I’ve always wanted a ballerina-esque tutu skirt. I especially like the top you paired with this.
As always, you look stunning. 🙂

    Love, M.

This is cute! Although the bag may be the one that’s overpowering in the whole look and not the skirt (I think its adorable). Buuut the top is my ultimate fave!

as a lover of ruffles, I must say I really like this dress…I don’t think it’s over the top at all..it’s perfect…and I love you paired it with those platform shoes.

Thanks for dropping by Shireen! I personally think it is totally fine for women of any age to wear this kind of skirt! Important thing is to feel comfortable as well as to find a style that suits your body-shape! Taking note of the length will help too!
