Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving week! I spent a big part of the weekend shopping for Christmas decorations and thinking a lot about the future of this blog which I started out of a passion for fashion and style. As a mere mortal, I have made many mistakes and have regrets in my heart that still sting to this day. But one thing I am thankful for is the opportunity to pursue my dreams despite the mountains to cross. This blog offers me a platform to express my creativity in the area of styling and connect to like-minded readers which I will always be grateful for. If you are reading this post or am a regular follower, I will like to thank you for your support :).
Happy mid-week! Just a quick post on one of my #ootd last weekend of a unique skirt from Jaspal.
I have not seen too many floral designs this season but whenever I spot one, I am likely to pay more attention to it. The Zara floral flowing dress featured today is a perfect example. Apart from the high collar style which is usually extremely well-received in Fall/Winter, I was also exceptionally in love with the beautiful and striking floral prints.
I have always loved how a fur design can add instant glamour to an outfit. When SheIn contacted me for a second collaboration, I could not resist picking out this lovely fur vest for the feature today. To accommodate the warm weather in Singapore, I matched the fur vest with a sleeveless and lightweight burgundy top purchased in Thailand. I absolutely adore pairing Fall colors together and I really like the look of brown with burgundy in this outfit!
Happy Monday and hope everyone has a great start to the week! Just a quick post today on a really cute soft knit sweater I got from Jaspal, a well-known Thai brand as mentioned in my last post.

If you love food and shopping, Bangkok is definitely a place you will want to visit at least once in your life! I have visited Bangkok many times before but there are still many things we did for the first time on my recent trip there. Here is a breakdown of what we did with some tips of what we think you should do in Bangkok should you visit –
Hello everyone! I was on a short vacation to Thailand and just got back home. While we usually stay at hotels smacked right in the city area when we visit Bangkok, we decided to book our accommodation through airbnb this time. We were hoping to experience the Thai way of life and we thought it will be interesting to stay in an apartment located in the suburban area just as we did in Paris. The apartment we chose came with a lovely loft bed design and a huge wooden frame sofa just underneath the bed. I could not resist taking some pictures in this rustic apartment which I found rather charming!
I was introduced to online shopping about five years ago and Lilypirates is one of the first few online stores I frequented then. As I was working full-time in an office environment at that time, I found the workplace appropriate designs from this online store quite attractive. Fast forward five years later, Lilypirates still specializes in providing affordable and petite-friendly apparels suitable for the office and the bow dress featured today is my recent purchase from there.
Burgundy or Oxblood is an extremely popular Fall color and I am really eager to experiment with this shade as it is not usually a color I will choose to wear. I am totally sold and it has become one of my favorite colors to wear this season apart from brown, bright red, nude and green. I am also totally obsessed with high collar designs recently so I will be featuring a few of these designs starting with this cute burgundy dress. This piece is a love at first sight for me as I am not only attracted to the color but also to the gorgeous diamante embellished neckline. The pictures are not really able to reflect the true beauty of the embellished detail but in actual fact, it absolutely glam up to the otherwise simple dress design!
