Friday is just the best day of the week, isn’t it! Just a quick post today on 4 meaningful articles that is beneficial for you to read over the weekend.
The cute top featured today combines 3 of the most popular trends now – stripes, bell sleeves and off-shoulder. I love the flare silhouette too as it’s perfectly comfortable for hot weather and loose enough for an indulgence of a sumptuous meal on the weekends. If there is a “best summer top” category, this piece definitely makes the top of my list! I got it from a local boutique but a very similar design can be found at Zara here.
Buying clothes online can be tricky as photos of products can be deceiving at times. Attending runway shows is a good way to check out how online products actually look like so that we as consumers are more confident to press the “add to cart” button.
TGIF! Just a quick post today which could help you plan for a fun weekend.
In celebration of its 5th Birthday, Clozette is holding a series of exciting activities including a Giveaway of 5 leather saddle bags from ASOS! I first came across this #ClozetteGiveaway on Instagram and thought I will share it here, in case anyone is interested to participate. Giveaway ends on 24th April at midnight and (unfortunately), is only open to Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines.
I am obsessed with white outfits recently and have been wearing them all the time. There is something so sleek and classic about white that makes this color appropriate to wear whatever the season is.
It has come to that time of the year in Singapore when the weather can be insanely hot or plagued with intermittent rain throughout the day. The latter was exactly what happened on the day my husband and I planned to take a walk at the beautiful botanic gardens. Despite the sporadic rain, we were determined to visit the Bandstand, an octagonal structure with a charming Victorian architectural design sitting within the garden.
If you feel that you are in a style rut and constantly struggling to spice up your office look, one of the easiest ways to get out of it is to add colors to your outfits. While not all of us are comfortable with wearing striking colors or have the eye for matching colors flawlessly, it is definitely easier to introduce colors against a neutral shade such as white, nude or black.
The pink and grey combo was all the rage last year but the rave seems to have died down. Nevertheless, I think that it is one of the most lovely color combinations ever! With pink blooms spotted all over the neighborhood I stay at, I couldn’t resist using these beautiful florals as a backdrop for my pink and grey weekend #ootd.
I used to love rummaging through the racks in boutiques during Sales season and this butterfly print dress was a design I found in Topshop during one of those expeditions. Animal prints are not usually my cup of tea but I have a soft spot for butterflies back then. The dress is from Topshop’s petite range and is a good fit for me on the overall so I decided to add it to my wardrobe.
Shopping is so much better and fun when everything can be bought at a discount! If you are like me who de-stress quickly whenever you do some shopping, mid-week probably calls for a much needed retail therapy.
