Happy Monday everyone!
Just a quick post today on my #ootd over the weekend. The cute sweater featured today is a design I bought from the kidswear department at Mango. Despite being petite, I seldom attempt to buy clothes from the children’s section as I didn’t want to shock the salesgirl unnecessarily :). As I really love the adorable fringe sleeves and pretty fair isle print of this cable knit sweater, I couldn’t care less in this instance!
With the coming of Christmas, I have been seeing lots of glitters around in the form of stunning decorations, attractive gift packaging and sparkly outfits or accessories. I am absolutely LOVING it! The festive atmosphere is just amazing with all these glitters and really got me in the mood of shopping for a few sparkly items for myself (guilty as charged!).
I have not seen too many floral designs this season but whenever I spot one, I am likely to pay more attention to it. The Zara floral flowing dress featured today is a perfect example. Apart from the high collar style which is usually extremely well-received in Fall/Winter, I was also exceptionally in love with the beautiful and striking floral prints.
I have always loved how a fur design can add instant glamour to an outfit. When SheIn contacted me for a second collaboration, I could not resist picking out this lovely fur vest for the feature today. To accommodate the warm weather in Singapore, I matched the fur vest with a sleeveless and lightweight burgundy top purchased in Thailand. I absolutely adore pairing Fall colors together and I really like the look of brown with burgundy in this outfit!
Hello everyone! I was on a short vacation to Thailand and just got back home. While we usually stay at hotels smacked right in the city area when we visit Bangkok, we decided to book our accommodation through airbnb this time. We were hoping to experience the Thai way of life and we thought it will be interesting to stay in an apartment located in the suburban area just as we did in Paris. The apartment we chose came with a lovely loft bed design and a huge wooden frame sofa just underneath the bed. I could not resist taking some pictures in this rustic apartment which I found rather charming!
I was introduced to online shopping about five years ago and Lilypirates is one of the first few online stores I frequented then. As I was working full-time in an office environment at that time, I found the workplace appropriate designs from this online store quite attractive. Fast forward five years later, Lilypirates still specializes in providing affordable and petite-friendly apparels suitable for the office and the bow dress featured today is my recent purchase from there.
A cape blazer is one of the coolest designs around and I have no idea why I have not thought of getting one before! When a friendly coordinator from SheIn contacted me for a collaboration, it did not take me long to pick out this elegant white cape blazer from the many lovely designs to choose from for today’s feature.
If you have been reading my blog on a regular basis, you may have noticed that I have recently added a section on petite-friendly apparel reviews. Most of these apparels will be from the more established online stores in Singapore which offer international shipping. Singapore is an extremely small country and I personally find it really amazing that there are so many successful local-based stores doing well in the competitive (cut-throat in reality!) online market. Having ran a fast-moving online fashion store myself previously, I understand the hard work, dedication and most importantly, passion, that is required to sustain an online fashion business. Therefore, I have a lot of respect for online fashion stores that are able to keep their passion burning and continue to provide beautiful yet affordable designs for their customers. Ultimately, I hope that my reviews will not only serve as an introduction of dedicated Singapore online fashion businesses to an international audience, but can also provide you with some valuable resources if you are petite and always on the look-out for stores that provide suitable apparels.
The eyelet top featured today first caught my attention as it resembles a design from Zara as seen here. At half the price for a petite-friendly version which I can foresee will make a good staple for my wardrobe, I could not resist investing in it. The top is from Fashmob, another Singapore online store which I shopped at for the very first time.
Bucket bag designs have been ultra popular on the fashion scene for some time now and for good reasons. They are really cute and can bring an effortlessly chic touch to an outfit easily. Out of the many designs available, I am particularly attracted to bucket bags with eyelet details as they are so pretty! The lovely camel brown buckle bag featured today is a piece I bought from Neonmello, an online store from Singapore.
