Hello everyone, just a quick post today on this Fabitoria Episode 1 top! What captures my attention to this top is its unique hemline and strong graphics. The boxy loose fit is very comfortable too, especially for the hot summer weather.
Clothes rental (apart from wedding gowns and dresses) is a very new concept in Singapore. I have always thought it will be cool to have such a service locally so when I heard of Style Theory, I decided to give it a try.
I have been gifted a few neck scarves recently and while I love all of them, I think a classic print like this Connect The Dot scarf from Bobbibows is definitely a winner! Polka dot just can not go wrong with its timeless appeal and I had fun creating this summery polka dot on polka dot outfit look over the weekend.
There are certain trends that I would never have tried if I do not read fashion blogs. The men’s shirt is an example but articles such as 10 Stylish Ways a Woman Can Wear A Men’s Shirt do encourage me to think out of the box.
I have been seeing more orange or tangerine colored apparels in shopping malls and I am quite tempted to add a couple of designs to my wardrobe. There is something about the color that particularly attracts me this season although I can’t quite put a finger to where the attraction lies. While yellow is a super cheerful color and red is smoking hot, orange is somewhere in between which could explain why I find it charming in its own ways!
One of the great things about having a sister is that you can borrow clothes from her once in a while. We do not always share the same taste in clothing but in this case, the super fun prints of this dress of hers attracted my attention immediately! Similar to bright colors such as yellow or coral pink, cute prints have a mood enhancing effect on me. I just felt like twirling round and round in this hot-air balloon printed dress which comes with equally adorable round buttons.
How was your week so far? I knew mine was fantastic on the day I had a photography session on this particular outfit look. I had previously featured this dress at an indoor wedding but I really wanted to take it out for a spin as I believe it belongs under the sun. The fun and colorful prints, flowy hi-low skirt and “off-shoulder” style simply scream summer to me!
The cute top featured today combines 3 of the most popular trends now – stripes, bell sleeves and off-shoulder. I love the flare silhouette too as it’s perfectly comfortable for hot weather and loose enough for an indulgence of a sumptuous meal on the weekends. If there is a “best summer top” category, this piece definitely makes the top of my list! I got it from a local boutique but a very similar design can be found at Zara here.
If you feel that you are in a style rut and constantly struggling to spice up your office look, one of the easiest ways to get out of it is to add colors to your outfits. While not all of us are comfortable with wearing striking colors or have the eye for matching colors flawlessly, it is definitely easier to introduce colors against a neutral shade such as white, nude or black.
The pink and grey combo was all the rage last year but the rave seems to have died down. Nevertheless, I think that it is one of the most lovely color combinations ever! With pink blooms spotted all over the neighborhood I stay at, I couldn’t resist using these beautiful florals as a backdrop for my pink and grey weekend #ootd.
